Commercial Real Estate Attorney Candidate will advise commercial real estate business in connection with loan originations, warehouse lending, loan purchases and sales, securitizations and other complex transactions. Advise on federal and state regulatory matters in connection with the commercial real estate business. Review documentation including confidentiality agreements, engagement letters, loan purchase and sale agreements, prospectuses. Attend committee meetings including applicable investment and escalation committee meetings. Coordinate with outside counsel on transactions. Coordinate with various control functions including Rep Risk, Tax, Compliance, Litigation and Corporate Secretary. Candidate should have J.D. degree and New York Bar admission. 5+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Law is needed. Experience in financial institution legal and compliance department is a plus.
