ProfileSenior Manager, EEO & Investigations Duties: Under the direction of Chief Counsel-Litigation and Labor and Employment, responsible for working with HR, legal and the business to assure compliance with related legal and regulatory requirements. Will also represent the Company before government agencies in the investigation of discrimination claims by employees and in governmental agency audits and compliance reviews and be responsible for EEO and non-EEO related internal investigations. Intakes and investigates internal EEO complaints. Intakes and investigates non-EEO compliance related complaints. Conducts or manages the investigation of EEO-related agency charges and their responses. Drafts position statements and draft responses to external charges and complaints. Partners with organization leaders/managers to develop corrective action plans if required. Represents the Company before government agencies in the investigation of discrimination claims by employees. Conduct trend analysis and partnering with stakeholders to develop appropriate action to address areas of concern. In consultation with counsel, interprets and applies federal and state regulatory requirements, including pertinent legislation, guidelines, executive orders, and applicable judicial administrative decisions. Represents the Company in governmental agency audits and compliance reviews. Together with HR, develops the Company’s EEO strategy to ensure compliance with federal and state statues. Works with outside consultants, legal counsel, etc. to support HR on Affirmative Action. Reviews and revises Company policies and processes to ensure they meet EEO policy and guidelines. Develops required training including EEO, Positive Employee Relations and other training as appropriate. Acts as focus point for Job Accommodations in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act. Supports and provides training on EEO related issues.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, JD Degree a plus. 7+ years of experience in investigations and EEO Compliance. Knowledge of federal/state regulations related to employment and employee relations, including but not limited to EEO/AA, ADA, FLSA, and FMLA. Skilled in Investigation, negotiation, and conflict management. Demonstrated ability to look at issues objectively and analytically. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
