Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer Duties: Leads the Human Resources function and serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and the Privacy Officer for the Corporation. Plans, organizes and directs all aspects of the Human Resources function of the health center specifically employment, compensation, employee relations, employee benefits, and employee training. Drafts, reviews, and/or negotiates a wide variety of contracts including employment agreements, grant contracts, leases, consulting agreements, and vendor and commercial contracts. Provides legal assistance as needed with federal and state filings, including grant reports, audits, compliance filings, and regulatory and funding source on-site survey follow-up. Responsible for the development, oversight, investigations and reporting of the corporate compliance program. Works with others as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers. Qualifications: J.D. Previous HR or labor law experience.
