CAS (Client Advisory Services) Manager Duties: Will be responsible for facilitating the relationship acceptance process and subsequent account opening and ongoing account maintenance for company's ultra high-net-worth clients. CAS provides full and dedicated support to the Client Advisor (“CAâ€) and Wealth Advisor (“WAâ€) teams across all company's Offices. The CAS Manager will oversee the Asset Analysis and Relationship Acceptance teams within the CAS department and provide strategic, managerial and administrative support to the Head of CAS. As a Middle Office function, will be expected to possess a strong understanding of operations, client on-boarding and KYC/AML rules. The primary function of this role is to manage the Asset Analysis and Relationship Acceptance teams. These small teams are collectively responsible for vetting new client relationships, working with the Account Opening team to process new accounts, and transfer assets to the firm in conjunction with the Custody department and external financial institutions. These groups are integral to the client on-boarding function and work directly with the CA/WA teams to create a smooth and efficient experience for the client. Will also be expected to work with the Head of CAS to set the strategic vision of the Asset Analysis and Relationship Acceptance groups. Will also create and deliver presentations, develop internal procedures and custom reports as needed.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: Undergraduate and advanced degree required (e.g., JD, CPA, MBA). 5-10 years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Prior experience in private banking and/or family office services. Must demonstrate knowledge of securities operations, including ACATS, DTC and DRS. Should be able to call on knowledge of AML compliance rules to spot and correct issues as arise in the on-boarding process. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables. Should be comfortable executing, as well as delegating, work and setting team priorities. Should be prepared to work with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, and Custody on a daily basis in order to streamline processes. Exceptional organization and interpersonal skills, and the ability to supervise a successful team.
