Senior What's Market Analyst The candidate will analyze key provisions of complex bankruptcy documents. Draft What’s Market practice notes and other resources highlighting current market trends and variations between sectors and jurisdictions. Draft filing checklists for format and content requirements for filings in bankruptcy courts. Draft What’s Market features for Practical Law The Journal. Work closely with Bankruptcy Editors to source documents for the bankruptcy database and draft summaries. Provide additional support to the Bankruptcy team as required.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have J.D. Degree and 3+ years’ legal experience including relevant law firm experience or demonstrated propensity to perform complex analyses of plans of reorganization, disclosure statements, Section 363 Sale Documents, First Day Pleadings, local rules and market trends. Should have excellent writing and drafting skills, including: close attention to detail; excellent command of grammar, punctuation and plain English; and ability to write about complex legal issues clearly and succinctly. Excellent IT, administrative and organization skills are needed.
