ProfileDebt Collection Attorney The candidate will report to the Staff Attorney. Will manage account liquidations and the legal processes. Treat all customers with fairness and respect while creating fair payment solutions that fits their financial situation. Demonstrate exceptional legal research, writing and oral communication skills. Handle caseload and provide expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks. Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases. Travel to various courts within the state as legal representation in various legal proceeds and to attend court hearings. Work with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a J.D. degree from accredited law school with license to practice law in Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee or West Virginia. Being licensed to practice law in other states is a plus. Must have 1-3 years of experience in bankruptcy/collection and civil law litigation, attending court proceedings and associated regulations. In-depth knowledge of Federal and State laws is required.
