Commercial Bankruptcy Attorneys & Litigators The candidate must excels in: Case management. Reviewing and analyzing client files, formulating and executing strategy, developing and executing a discovery plan, working with opposing counsel, supervising attorney staff, reporting up to the principals of the firm. Identifying tasks for staff attorneys to complete, assigning those tasks, assigning deadlines, following up on those deadlines, reviewing the work, meeting client and court deadlines. Drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and appearing for court conferences, and each and every task is completed with an obsessive attention to detail and perfection.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 5+ years at Big Law. Has run at least one litigation case from start to finish (i.e., from the beginning of a client engagement until the end). Has taken and defended depositions. Experience running cases from initial client meeting through case conclusion. Has presented motions and arguments to court. Has held client telephone conferences and given periodic updates to clients about engagements. Has obsessive attention to detail. Has extensive bankruptcy experience.
