Assistant Director of Debt Asset Management – CDC Duties: Provides leadership, guidance, oversight and training to a team of Assistant Asset Managers, Asset Managers and Senior Asset Managers. Counsels and evaluates direct reports. Assists senior management in strategy formulation and methods to operate the construction, lease-up, stabilization, disposition and workout of real estate. May make recommendations to top management. Apprises Director of Asset Management of deal and relationship issues that are ongoing, along with any deterioration in ongoing asset quality and performance in accordance with credit policy. Maintains relationships with external customers and internal partners. Is responsible for Special Projects as assigned by the Director of Asset Management. Should demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, along with exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and results orientation.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred) and/or 6+ years of specifically related experience, and 4+ years of leadership experience. Preferred: Proven leadership skills. Relationship management abilities. Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Thorough understanding of tax credit investment management. Advanced knowledge of construction finance, legal documentation, real estate property management, accounting and financial statement analysis. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly motivated, able to work independently, and with acute attention to detail.
