AD Relationship Manager (Safe) 3 Duties: Serve as the Relationship Manager for ultra-high net worth (UHNW) families. Meet with clients and prospective clients regarding their values, needs and goals, as well as their full financial balance sheet and deliver a wealth planning and investment consulting orientation. Prepare and deliver solution presentations to clients and prospects. Provide AD client products and services including custody, portfolio management, private banking, trust and estate services, wealth plans and insurance, as well as other services available from the broader bank’s franchise. Provide ongoing relationship management and personal service to meet client needs. Provide ongoing and integrated financial advice and solutions to clients including the delivery of services with specialty partners. Possess Planning as a core skill and deliver on our AD planning offering in partnership with the broader team. Expected to manage highly complex Abbot Downing relationships and be actively involved in revenue generation. Also may assist in new product and process development. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation.
Qualification and Experience
Advanced degree and/or industry designations such as JD, CFP, CFA, CIMA, CTFA, LLM taxation, Masters in Tax, MA, MBA preferred. Should have 5+ years of experience working with high net worth clients and their advisors on management strategies. Persons in this position must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau loan originator qualification requirements and must comply with bank’s policies related to these requirements. The loan originator qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness and criminal background standards. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening. Should have 10+ years of providing sophisticated estate and financial planning for HNW clients and experience in relationship management. Demonstrated sales success with prospects greater than $50 million required. Experience managing client relationships with assets of $100M or more required. Should have experience with high net worth clients, including hedge, real estate, private equity, private debt, structured products and commodities, planning. Exposure to and knowledge of banking and credit for UHNW clients preferred. Experience dealing with ultra-successful entrepreneurs/ CEOs preferred.
