Wholesale Risk Vice President, Financial Crimes Candidate will report directly to the Senior Vice President, AML/Sanctions Program Manager for Wholesale Banking. In-depth analysis of product and service initiatives across the Wholesale lines of business with specific focus on financial crimes risk assessments, policies and processes related to the review and approval of new and modified products and services. Provide primary support to Wholesale business lines in the development, modification or retirement of products. The position will support the AML/Sanctions Program Manager; will act as primary liaison with Treasury Management to provide BSA/AML/Sanctions compliance risk expertise and consulting relating to product and services development, modification and implementation. Identification and evaluation of BSA/AML/Sanctions and related risk and the evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, initiatives and internal controls in mitigation of risk.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate with J.D. degree, M.B.A. or other relevant graduate degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in fraud, BSA/AML, investigations of financial crimes transactions or policy violations, risk management or compliance and 2+ years management experience. Demonstrated experience in BSA/AML/OFAC/Sanctions. Demonstrated experience in Treasury Management products and services. Sound analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff. Organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and task simultaneously. Ability to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
