Corporate Finance - Investment Banking Vice President Duties: Advise strategic and financial buyers on mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. Corporate Development Advisory - Advise on a variety of corporate development strategic options, including M&A and IPO advisory support, prioritizing shareholder objectives, enhancing corporate finance capabilities, and understanding current market valuation and paths to potential liquidity. Fairness Opinions - Render a judgment regarding the fairness from a financial point of view of the consideration to be received by a stockholder -- relative to industry and market conditions -- in a corporate transaction. Infrastructure Advisory - Assisting public entities and investor consortiums in developing, analyzing and structuring public‑private partnerships with respect to the financing and development of new and existing infrastructure assets. Sell Side Services - Advise sellers on the sale or divestiture of all or part of a business.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree. MBA and/or J.D. preferred. ASA, CPA and/or CFA a plus. A strong finance, accounting, and/or economics background. 5+ years of experience in Financial Services (FIG), Healthcare, Manufacturing, M&A Investment banking. Bulge bracket and/or reputable investment banking background. Industry and turn-key intermediary experience and negotiating skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Must be flexible with the potential travel requirements of projects. Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral.
