Commercial Credit Specialist Manager Duties: Accountable for managing individuals responsible for tasks related to the client credit relationship. Maintains responsibilities for interfacing with business partners to achieve objectives, including providing expertise and consultation necessary to execute the credit process. Provides coaching and development for a team of Commercial Credit Specialists (CCS) who manage a portfolio of credit relationships covering a wide range of industries for multiple geographies. Will drive operational excellence via strict adherence to credit policies and procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring the work has a high standard of quality accurate data integrity and timeliness. Directs the deal coordination, deal set-up in the credit platform, order and review of pre-close due diligence, preparation of internal legal documents and closing activities along with receipt of client related documentation for the CCS role.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: BA/BS degree required, JD Degree or Masters preferred; Legal, Finance, Accounting or Economics majors desired. Six Sigma Certified – Green belt or Black belt preferred. 3 years managerial experience leading individual contributors. Proven experience in leadership, decision making, coaching, partnering, and workflow management is essential. Strong commercial credit experience supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of a credit deal. In-depth knowledge of loan documentation and operational risk management. Client-facing experience. Strong analytical and technical skills. Effective communicator with the ability to lead and drive change throughout the organization. Ability to effectively partner with other business units and various levels of management is critical.
