Institutional Business Development Officer II The candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective customers in the local market as well as in assigned regional industry markets. Initiate contact with prospective clients, prepare and deliver presentations, follow-up with prospects, coordinate administrative and investment conversion team, and close sale of the prospective account. In addition to calling on new prospects, also call on existing customers to identify additional business opportunities and customer needs.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Finance, Economics with advanced degree (MBA / JD) preferred. Series 7 and 66 Licenses are required. 5 years of sales/new business development experience is needed. Should have background in finance, business, financial planning, investments, legal principals, employee benefits, tax and corporate structure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed. Should have ability to comprehend basic financial statements, good knowledge of investments, understanding of fiduciary principals. Knowledge of ERISA, and ability to comprehend regulatory documents is needed. Experience working with non-profit, public finance and Taft-Hartley client base a plus.
