Commercial Attorney - Marketing Solutions Duties: Supporting the firm Solutions, will engage with an exceptionally talented and congenial group of sales executives and account managers to devise and support programs that bring value to the world’s professionals by enabling them to engage with advertisers in a meaningful way, for example, through career-related websites and promotions, sponsored professional content, and sponsored professional groups. Will draft and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, non-standard advertising deals, structure strategic partnerships and support new initiatives. Will work with legal colleagues in a fast-paced, collaborative and motivated team to provide legal and business advice to clients in areas related to advertising, promotions, intellectual property, security and privacy. Draft and negotiate non-disclosure agreements. memoranda of understanding and terms sheets. Create/update legal templates for new products and existing product lines. Assist with process improvement and scaling projects. Counsel and advise the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions team on business and legal terms, including drafting and negotiating deals. Work with professionals cross-functionally, particularly with Revenue, Pricing, Product, and Sales Operations teams, to ensure that programs scale and are consistent with LinkedIn’s long-term business goals, are in the best interests of LinkedIn’s members, and fully comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: J.D. and admission to California Bar required. 2+ years of experience in commercial transactions, preferably with an advertising/marketing/sales focus. Experience with Web 2.0 products is strongly preferred. In-house experience is a bonus.
