Tenure Track Faculty or Instructor The candidate should have earned doctorate in Accounting (preferred) or related area; ABD candidates close to completion will be considered. A JD/CPA and a Master's degree in a business area will also be considered. For the instructor position, MBA, MSA or other Master's degree in the field and professional certification in accounting. 1 year of undergraduate or graduate successful teaching experience. Experience using online instructional technology. Online teaching experience. For the tenure-track position, a record of scholarship or strong potential for scholarship. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Evidence of scholarly activity. Practitioner or executive experience. Membership in professional organizations in the accounting field. Demonstrated record of professional experience in the field, teaching excellence, experience teaching diverse learners, experience integrating technology with instruction, a willingness to teach traditional, blended and online graduate and undergraduate accounting classes, and demonstrated/strong potential for future scholarship.
