Senior Director of Business Development The candidate will work directly with EVP/GM on various strategic initiatives designed to accelerate revenue. Oversee publisher acquisition/development program. Manage and grow existing Publisher Development team. Manage internal projects across the TapIt by company capabilities stack. Conduct landscape analysis of mobile ecosystem and thoroughly understand competitive dynamics. Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close deals in an aggressive time-frame. Lead complex contract negotiations. Develop business models to analyze various business opportunities. Define product and service solutions that meet partner's needs. Drive relationship building process at multiple levels to include senior execs at potential partners. Field inbound partner requests and evaluate opportunity relative to TapIt near/long term needs. Understand the most critical components to partner product strategy and needs. Analyze performance of accounts, report results and suggest specific areas for improvement. Work directly with existing partners and partner operations team to implement current offerings.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree from a leading college or university. Must have 5+ years of related business development experience in digital media/advertising. MBA or J.D. degree is desired. Proven track record for facilitating and ultimately closing deals is needed. Must have deep knowledge of publisher acquisition and revenue models. Must have strong knowledge of the digital advertising landscape with emphasis on mobile. Strong knowledge of data use and audience targeting and the entities in the space. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Apple Keynote is needed.
