Assistant/Associate Professor of Law, 2016- 2017 Duties: Teach both day and evening division. Teach 2 courses (6 credit hours) each semester; courses are delivered in classrooms on campus during two 13-week semesters. Evaluation of student efforts through the preparation and grading of examinations. Meet with students during posted office hours. Serve as faculty mentor to 25 students to advise them on academic and personal/career matters. Serve on a minimum of two Law School Committees. Participate in various activities that support the academic life and mission of the Law School. Conduct Scholarly research.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree required. Experience in and demonstrated success in law school teaching with 5+ years of relevant law-related employment. Ability to achieve excellence in teaching and in guiding and mentoring as to professional formation of students. Commitment to the goals of the School of Law and its curricular and instructional methods and goals. Duration: 9 months
