Sales Consultant The candidate will be responsible for sell online research, integrated workflow solutions, and legal books in the state and local government markets, and to renew revenue while strengthening customer relationships. Will consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and full-year new sales and renewal quotas, with a minimum mix of 25% solutions/software dollars. Maintain a new sales pipeline in salesforce.com three to four times monthly quota (3-4xQ). Conduct a minimum of 12 face-to-face sales meetings per week, with new sales prospecting introductions/meetings throughout the week. Ensure that all sales and related activities are entered into salesforce.com in a compliant manner – i.e. daily discipline. Consistently deliver accurate forecasting within a variance of 10%. Effectively demonstrate key products and solutions within 6 months of hire; for new products, effectively position and demonstrate within 45 days of launch. Conduct weekly lead-sharing and/or customer strategy calls with key inside and field partners.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a four-year college degree. Law degree is preferred. Must have 4-5 years of direct field sales experience (sales experience in the government sector preferred) with exemplary track record of sales quota over-achievement. Prior government industry experience a plus. Should be able to work from home office and travel to customer locations 80% of the time with 20% overnight travel.
