Conduct research and interpret case law, rulings, and regulations for U.S. and international businesses and individuals. Draft research memoranda, correspondence, and briefs. Review and analyze documents to support fact development and discovery efforts. Draft, prepare, and conduct pre-trial discovery, including affirmative and defensive discovery, fact chronologies, and deposition outlines. Research and draft witness examinations and other trial materials. Requirements: A Juris Doctor degree or LLM degree in Law from an Accredited US Law School and 1 year of work experience in job offered or one year of work experience in a related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1) Researching and drafting complex litigation pleadings; 2) Advising public and private companies regarding securities regulations. Candidates must be developmentally on track, and all resumes must be submitted with a transcript to be considered. Applicants must have or be able to obtain D.C. bar admission within one year of starting employment. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
