Executive Director (Direct Hire) The candidate will join the firm as an Executive Director whose mission is to improve the court system. Will work with its board, staff and others to develop multi-year financial goals and plans, promote fundraising, manage research and educational projects of committees, identify and evaluate emerging justice system issues, garner support from business, legal and other industries, represent the organization before the public, government, media and others, and oversee operations. The candidate should hold advanced degree in law, public policy or similar discipline having 10+ years of relevant work experience with significant management experience, in a non-profit setting. Should also have experience working with voluntary boards and committees; demonstrable record of effective fundraising as well as organizational and financial management; preferably with detailed knowledge of the DC justice system and have ability to work in an environment with limited administrative support.
