Associate Attorney - Litigation Duties: Review and sign court documents, judicial forms, pleadings, etc.. Review supporting documentation to determine suit-worthiness of accounts. Legal research and writing. Handling calls from consumer debtors when they request to speak to an attorney. Working knowledge of CA state courts. Qualifications: Graduate from an ABA accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in California. 1+ years' litigation experience (2+ years' preferred). Experience with consumer collections a plus, but not required. Proactive multi-tasker with the drive and passion to consistently seek to do more than the minimum in order to expand and grow professionally, both as an individual, and as part of a team. Superb written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism, while simultaneously thinking outside the box for solutions to client's problems. Ability to work while remaining in compliance with the law, including, the FDCPA, TCPA, and State Laws pertaining to Consumer Debt Collections.
