AF Recent Graduates Program (Security Spec), GS-0080-07/07 Duties: Provides assistance on staff assistance and program assessment visits and staff surveys for serviced activities. Participates in conducting industrial security visits for on-site visitor groups. Schedules and assists with conducting recurring surveys for the establishment and maintenance of controlled areas. Administers elements of the security education program. Researches and develops educational materials to assist users in implementing security countermeasures. Assists in evaluating the security education program and provides recommendations and corrective actions as required. Reviews annual security training requirements of serviced activities. Assists with maintenance and processing of Security Information Files. Provides assistance and guidance on security clearance eligibility. Ensures, with supervision, the applicable inquiries/investigators are conducted for all security violations. Assists in classification reviews and damage assessments. Through supervisory channels, notifies appropriate investigative agencies when criminal activity is suspected. Assist in processing security police incident and OSI reports of investigation. Process Program Access Requests (PAR) for special programs. Assists, conducts, and monitors conferences, seminars, symposia, exhibits, or other gatherings where classified material will be discussed. Provides assistance with technical security guidance pertaining to the construction of classified storage vaults, secure rooms, and classified conference rooms. Assists in providing input to base plans requiring security or law enforcement operations. Participates in organizational programs and special projects as directed. Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Have completed all degree requirements major or equivalent, or a combination of courses totaling at least 24 semester hours, in a related field of study such as: Business Management, Communications, Criminal Justice, Cyber Security, Homeland Security, Intelligence, Law Enforcement, Commercial law, Security Management and may include: Education, English, Journalism, Psychology, Public Administration and Risk Management. Have one full year (18 semester hours or equivalent) of graduate level study, or possess a master's or higher degree, e.g., LL.B, J.D., LL.M., Ph.D., in a related field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
