Post Graduate Clinical Law Fellowship The Fellow will gain significant legal practice experience, develop ties to other public interest lawyers and organizations serving the Twin Cities, and assist in the supervision of law students participating in the Legal Services Clinic. Will work closely with the faculty, staff and students of the CJP, in particular with Professor Carl Warren. Work will include direct involvement in ongoing CJP projects and assisting in the supervision of certified student attorneys.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Must be a 2017 graduate of the University School of Law. Must be eligible to practice law in the state of Minnesota and are expected to sit for the July 2017 Bar exam. Should have previous experience in working with and on behalf of communities of color, and/or working in public interest law or civil rights. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent oral advocacy and writing skills.
