ProfileTax Intern Summer 2018 The intern will participate in select phases of the tax consulting and compliance engagements which may include aspects of planning, execution and completion. Intern will participate in select projects. demonstrate creative thinking, flexibility and individual initiative. Contribute to collaborative teamwork, through working effectively as a team member: understanding personal and team roles. contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members. proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback. Flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks. and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor. Must be Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3. Preferred Major GPA: 3.3. Eligible students should be in the 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Master's degree in Accountancy, Taxation, JD or LLM Taxation is preferred. Will be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for the appropriate practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states. Demonstrates some knowledge of, and/or proven record of success through prior experience and/or coursework in accounting, including the following: A desire to pursue a career in Tax.
