Associate Research Analyst Duties: Support litigation and records management contracts and requires the applicant to conduct privilege and Privacy Act reviews of records and conduct liability analysis pursuant to the Comprehensive, Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and state programs including the Arizona Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF). The tasks involved include, Online research, Analysis of research findings, Report and case summary preparation, Record coding and organization, and Review of records at federal, state, and local records repositories.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Completion of law school with J.D. 0-5 years of directly related experience. Experience conducting research online including LexisNexis; public library websites; Internet search engines; and federal, state, and local municipality websites. Experience working with a state, local, or federal agency or an environmental contractor is a plus. Obtain admission to a state bar within 6 months of employment. Familiarity with conducting privilege and Privacy Act reviews. Understanding of CERCLA and the Arizona WQARF is a plus.
