PUBLIC FINANCE AND GENERAL PUBLIC LAW ASSOCIATES We are an AV-rated law firm in Orange County, California specializing in public law for our local government clients since 1973. We desire to add two associate attorneys: (i) an associate preferably with three or more years of public finance experience; and (ii) an associate with three or more years of general public law experience. Our representative clients include school districts, county offices of education, water districts, sanitation-sewer entities, and community facilities districts of such agencies. We represent only public agencies to ensure our ongoing fidelity to our longtime and valued public agency clients, which are located throughout the State of California. In addition to providing general-counsel, transaction and other legal services to our clients, we provide Bond Counsel and other financing-related services, including, among others, formation of community facilities districts ("CFDs”), issuance of tax-exempt financings, representation with rating agencies, and continuing disclosure. We are nationally recognized as Bond Counsel for tax-exempt financings for our public agency clients. Responsibilities of the selected associate attorney candidate would include assisting our public agency clients and other attorneys of our firm in representing our public agency clients including preparation of opinions/memoranda, consulting with and giving advice to clients on general public law matters, drafting transactional documents, formation and administration of community facilities districts, and attending board meetings of our clients. Related work experience with cities, counties or other public agencies is a factor that will be considered. If you have the experience described above, please submit a resume, list of references and a non-litigation writing sample for consideration by clicking "Apply Now".
