The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) at its Central Office in Jefferson City, Missouri, has a vacancy for a management level staff attorney. This position manages legal services (advice, litigation and document drafting) provided to the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission and MoDOT for: (1) human resources issues (e.g., hiring, benefits, discipline, termination, etc.); and (2) other areas/projects as assigned. Requirements include: a Juris Doctor degree; membership in good standing with the Missouri Bar Association; at least five years of supervisory experience; and excellent research, writing and communication skills. Litigation experience regarding employment and human resources issues is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience. MoDOT offers an excellent benefits package.
