Senior Compliance Officer - Ethics Office Policies and Procedures Attorney Duties: Develop and draft policies and procedures related to the investigation of matters referred to the Citi Ethics Office; Create and deliver training on internal investigations to Ethics Office partners and stakeholders; Collaborate with Ethics Office partners and stakeholders to maintain consistency across policies and procedures related to internal investigations maintained by other functions; Develop and execute communications plan/strategy to implement and create awareness around new or revised policies or procedures; Maintain precise version control and archiving systems; Prepare materials for review by the Policy Committee; Support the Ethics Office’s privacy-related initiatives by keeping up to date on privacy and data protection laws related to investigations, whistleblowing and employee conduct; Assist with other Ethics Office initiatives as needed.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: An attorney with 5+ years of relevant experience in litigation, employment litigation/counseling, and/or privacy law. Must have outstanding writing and analytical skills, sound judgment, discretion, and experience working with multinational companies. Familiarity with issues related to privacy and cross-border data transfers is a plus. Familiarity with the United States Sentencing Guidelines, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and related best practices is preferred. Project management experience is preferred. Ability to translate legal and operational requirements into written policies/procedures; Comfortable with changes in scope and direction; Ability to establish and maintain credibility and trust throughout organization; Respond quickly and appropriately to internal and external stakeholders; Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral); Able to work independently as well as in a team; Highly organized; Detail-oriented; Discretion and ability to protect confidential information; Technologically proficient with PowerPoint and Excel.
