Accelerated Career Track Associate - Wealth Management The candidate will primarily responsible for a variety of assigned duties, responsibilities, and studies throughout the bank in an intense 12-18 month development program designed to enhance financial, analytical and sales skills to prepare for a career within the organization as determined through the training and rotational process. Will participate in internal development programs and self-study courses in order to improve skills to be used on the job; specific focus on the Bank's operations, markets and strategies. Completes classroom training on various technical skills. Participates in specialized training on the diverse banking products offered by all divisions within firm. Completes formal training on the legal aspects of financial services. Prepares special reports and assumes special projects as may be assigned by the department manager. (May present data, analysis, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from financial information when required.) Application-based projects with mentors and work groups such as financial analysis, spreading, system testing, and industry/company research. Projects as requested and assigned by executives and senior leaders – including, but not limited to, rebuilding cash flow model, market expansion project research, efficiency project research, or the like. Receives general training to develop skills in the following areas: time management, effective presentations, negotiating, sales, leadership, communication, professionalism, and other topics as appropriate. Participates in organization overviews with managers and executives. Establishes and build relationships with managers, mentors, and peer.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in a business related field or a JD degree with an overall GPA of 3.2. Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting and financial principles is essential. Excellent PC skill including spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications is essential. Must have excellent math skills and ability to understand/calculate percentages and fractions, excellent presentation skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral and written reports and presentations
