Back in 1896, A.D. Bliss founded Dover Business College. In 1902, C.P.A. David McIntosh purchased the institution and changed its name to McIntosh College. Highline Community College is a junior college located in Des Moines, WA, just south of Seattle. The school was founded in 1961 and was the first community college in King County. The main campus overlooks Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. It is situated on 80 acres and boasts approximately 10,000 students and 350,000 alumni.

The Paralegal Studies Program at Westchester Community College in Valhalla, NY

Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the county of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community. The college boasts approximately 12,000 full-time and part-time students. Add to that another 8,000 continuing education students. Additionally, at least 98% of Westchester faculty members hold postgraduate degrees in their fields. The student to faculty ratio is about 16:1.
