Convicted Bogus Attorney Sentenced Extra Two Years

Carter has sentenced a Newport Beach man to an additional two year prison sentence for committing the same crime and violating the terms of his release. According to officials, the additional two year sentence is the maximum allowed under the law.

West Palm Beach Legal Assistant Shot in Botched Robbery Attempt

Legal assistant, Karen Amerita with the West Palm Beach law firm of Perry & Jensen was shot in the stairwell of the firms Executive Center Plaza office on August 7th at 8:42 am. According to West Palm Beach Police Detective, Don Leffew, Amerita was attacked from behind and her assailant demanded money. In what appears to be a ''botched'' robbery attempt, the man ran after the shot was fired and it is uncertain if he managed to steal any money or valuables.
