Holland &Knight adds 10 more attorneys
Holland & Knight has expanded its West Coast presence with the addition of ten attorneys from 80-lawyer environmental firm Beveridge & Diamond. The majority of the group will join Holland & Knight's San Francisco office, while two lawyers will join in Los Angeles.

Kirkpatrick & Lockhart adds former NJ Attorney General
Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham has grown its white collar and internal investigations practices with the addition of four former Assistant US Attorneys and the former Attorney General of New Jersey, John J. Farmer, Jr. Farmer and another attorney are joining the firm's Newark office, two attorneys are joining in Boston, and one is joining the San Francisco office.

Greenberg Traurig adds three attorneys
The Philadelphia office of Greenberg Traurig has added a three-lawyer tax group from Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll. The office opened in May 1997 with three attorneys and now is up to 29.

Gary Lynch named General Counsel of Morgan Stanley
Investment bank Morgan Stanley has named Gary Lynch, a former head of the enforcement division of the Securities and Exchange Commission, general counsel. Lynch most recently served as global general counsel of Credit Suisse First Boston, and prior to that he was a partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Michael Bednarek named managing partner of Pillsbury's Taipei office
Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman has named IP partner Michael Bednarek managing partner of the firm's Taipei office. Prior to the merger of Pillsbury Winthrop and Shaw Pittman in April, the six lawyers of Shaw Pittman's Taiwan office joined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld due to a client conflict.
