President and founder Susan Pye, has established of team of 15 recruiters who have more than 100 years of combined legal experience. Pye, who has 20 years of experience in the business, focuses primarily on attorney placement for both permanent and contract positions. Prior to entering the recruiting industry, Pye worked for high-profile members of the energy industry, including Texaco and Enron. She most recently served as the vice president of Cabot Corporation's natural gas marketing company. As one might expect, she is particularly knowledgeable in areas concerning in-house legal energy placements.

Additionally, Pye devoted six years to teaching and served as a federal law clerk. She is a board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and has been a spokesperson for diabetes research funding. Pye earned her JD from South Texas College of Law and holds Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Texas.

Pye Legal Recruiting partners with clients to find the best candidate for a given position. Through prior personal experience as attorneys, paralegals, and legal administrators, the firm's recruiters have extensive resources. The firm also maintains an extensive candidate database and ensures successful placements, through thorough candidate evaluations and personal interviews.

The firm also offers contract projects, which range from electronic or paper document reviews to more in-depth assignments. These assignments can last anywhere from one day to two years but regardless of the duration of the assignment, Pye's legal recruiters strive to provide employees with the best. All of the firm's contract attorneys are licensed and experienced. Pye Legal Recruiting handles all payroll and benefits matters for its contract workers.

In addition to providing attorney reviewers, the firm also offers a Document Review Center in Houston, Texas. The center features secured card-key access to the room and also to the building after-hours. Secure internet access, conference capabilities, kitchen facilities, free parking, and many other added conveniences are also provided.
