9/20/04 Adorno & Yoss Latest to Add New York Office Adorno & Yoss, based in Miami, has opened a New York office via the acquisition of the Bryant Law Group, a seven-attorney entity specializing in corporate and intellectual property law. Former FTC chairman Joins O'Melveny & Myers O'Melveny & Myers picked up Timothy Muris, former Federal Trade Commission Chairman. He will serve as co-chair for the antitrust division. Muris, who left his post last month, will work out of the Washington, DC, office as of counsel. Legal Times, 9/13/04 California to Allow In-House Counsel to Practice without Bar Certification The California State Bar Board of Governors will let in-house counsels and legal services attorneys practice in the state without taking the bar exam.
