Shingle serves as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association at Pace Law School, which is the umbrella organization for all student organizations. As Vice President of the Student Bar Association, Shingle serves as a representative for the students at Pace and brings forth student concerns to the faculty and administration.
Shingle is also the Secretary of LAMBDA, which serves to promote diversity and understanding of all people, including lesbian, gay, bi, and transgender students. She is involved in the Student Mentoring program and a member of the Criminal Justice Society.
In April, Shingle will be going to Vienna, Austria to participate in the Willem C. Vis Moot Court Team. The purpose of Vis Arbitral Moot is to allow students to further understand international, commercial, and arbitration laws. The Willem C. Vis Moot is named after Willem Cornelius Vis, who was an expert in international commercial transactions and dispute settlement procedures.
