Attorney Dennis M. O'Hara was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and was admitted to the bar in that state. He received his B.A. in 1965 from Muhlenberg College and then attended Villanova University of Law. Villanova University of Law is the first church-related school to be awarded a chapter of the Order of the Coif. The Coif is the national honor society dedicated to high legal scholarship standards. O'Hara received his J.D. in 1968.
Attorney O'Hara has been admitted to practice law in three states, the main one being Florida, where he is now practicing law with Wicker, Smith, O'Hara, and McCoy & Ford P.A. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In June of 2008 the Firm had 8 lawyers named as Florida Super Lawyers, of whom Attorney Dennis O'Hara was one. He has been practicing in the field of Aviation since the 1970's and has handled several large cases for the firm including aviation disaster with the ValuJet crash in the Florida Everglades, May 11, 1996. When Attorney Dennis O'Hara made it through the 12 steps to become a Super Lawyer and he then went on to the ''blue ribbon review'' to be categorized by area of practice. Finally the entire final lawyer list from the ''blue ribbon review'' is again separated between large law firms and solo practitioners or small firms.
