When Attorney Dennis O'Hara made it through the 12 steps to become a Super Lawyer and he then went on to the ''blue ribbon review'' to be categorized by area of practice. Finally the entire final lawyer list from the ''blue ribbon review'' is again separated between large law firms and solo practitioners or small firms. This way, only lawyers from large firms compete against other large law firms. Small firm candidates and sole practitioners compete with each other.
