Andrew M. Katzenstein, Partner, Proskauer Rose LLP Initial Years Andy was born in Philadelphia, PA, on October 13, 1957. He received his BA in Political Science (magna cum laude) in 1979 and J.D. (cum laude) in 1982 from the University of Michigan. Later he received his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of San Diego in 1985. Andy is admitted to practice in California, New York, and also before the United States Tax Court. Highly-Regarded Trusts and Estates Lawyer With more than 25 years of trusts-and-estates experience, Andy joined Proskauer Rose LLP's Los Angeles office in July 2008 as a partner in its Personal Planning Department and as a member of its Fiduciary Litigation Practice Group. He also presented a weekly radio talk show Principal of the Matter on KFNX, where he attended to various estate-planning issues. He was one of the principal contributors to the probate treatise Marshall and Garb on Probate. Recognitions Andy was recently listed as one of the ''Top 100 Attorneys'' in Worth Magazine. He has also been recognized in 2004, 2005, and 2006 as a ''Southern California Super Lawyer in Estate Planning and Trusts'' in Los Angeles Magazine and Southern California Super Lawyers Magazine.
