Women Paralegals Paid Less Than Male Paralegals
A new survey shows that male paralegals are paid more than their female counterparts; women make only 92% of what the men do. This is unusual since this field started out almost exclusively female.

Indiana Supreme Court Rejects Voluntary Paralegal Regulation
The Indiana Supreme Court has rejected a proposed Rule 2.2, which would have included the voluntary regulation of paralegals. This comes as a blow to paralegals wishing to be recognized as professionals.
