09/15/08 Apple Settles Backdating Case Apple Inc. has settled its backdating case, which involved several company officers and directors including CEO Steve Jobs. The settlement was for $14 million and comes after Apple’s previous general counsel had settled independently. Coldwell Banker Names New GC Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, has named Roger Berholz as its new general counsel. Berholz was a sales manager and broker in charge at the Chapel Hill, North Carolina, office of the company. Momenta Pharmaceuticals Inc Gets New GC Momenta Pharmaceuticals Inc, a biotech company based out of Cambridge, Massachusetts, has named Bruce A. Leicher their new senior vice president and general counsel. Leicher held the same position at Altus Pharmaceuticals before joining Momenta.
