New Partner at Holme, Roberts & Owen
Ronald Scott Haligman has joined international law firm Holme, Roberts & Owen, LLP, as a partner. Haligman comes from Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis, LLP, located in Miami, FL. He will be a partner at the firm's office in Denver and will mainly focus on commercial law and securities. Haligman graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law. Holme, Roberts & Owen was established in 1898 and has around 260 lawyers.
Firm Supports Make-A-Wish Foundation
Thanks to Make-A-Wish Foundation sponsor Frost Brown Todd, LLC, Tasha from Tennessee, who has battled lymphoma, had her wish fulfilled. Recently she and her family got to visit Disney World as a result of a donation from the firm to the Middle Tennessee chapter of Make-A-Wish. Frost Brown Todd, LLC, is an "entrepreneurial business law firm" with offices in nine locations around the country.
Partner Receives Leadership Award
Mark D. Pearlstein, partner of Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, has been picked to receive the "Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Chicago Chapter's 2008 Leadership Award." The award is given annually to an individual who has taken on a "leadership role" within the real estate industry. Pearlstein is a real estate attorney who focuses on community associations law. He has also written a weekly column for the Chicago Tribune since 1988, focusing on homeowner and condominium association law. Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, was founded in 1999 and currently has more than 75 attorneys.
