Texas Law Firm Honored
The Best Lawyers in America 2008, which will be published in December, will include 64 Winstead attorneys. The large Texas business law firm was honored to have some of its attorneys picked as "Best Lawyers" in various categories, consistently ranking first in many categories. The Best Lawyers in America includes attorneys from more than 1,400 law firms across the country. Winstead ranked first in real estate and insurance law. The firm has offices throughout Texas.
Greenebaum, Doll & McDonald Adds Associates
Business law firm Greenebaum, Doll & McDonald, PLLC, has hired 13 new associates. The new hires include attorneys from places like Lexington and Cincinnati, among other locations. Greenebaum, Doll & McDonald has about 200 legal professionals in seven offices who serve local as well as international clients. The law firm is based in Louisville, KY.
Firm Opens New Office
Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear has opened a new office in Washington, DC. The intellectual property firm is based in Orange County, CA, and this is its first office outside of California. The firm includes 211 lawyers. Litigation partner William Zimmerman has moved to Washington, DC, to be the managing partner at the office there. Several Orange County associates will join him soon. The firm is hoping to get more clientele as well as the opportunity to obtain East Coast recruits, who normally don't want to relocate. It hopes to add 10 to 15 new lawyers. Knobbe has other offices in California as well, most of which are located in Southern California.
