Pietragallo opens shop in Philadelphia
With the addition of two veteran lawyers as partners, one of Pittsburgh's largest 70-attorney regional business and litigation law firm, Pietragallo Bosick & Gordon, LLP, opened a Philadelphia office.

The new partners are Joseph Mancano, who joins the firm from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney where he was a shareholder in the litigation practice in the Philadelphia office, and Joseph Vaughan, who served the Vaughan Law Offices, LLP, in West Chester, PA. Besides the two partners, the new Philadelphia office will employ two associates, Mary March and Divya Wallace. Pietragallo Bosick's attorneys serve a national clientele from its six offices. The move to open doors in Philadelphia stems from the firm's desire to expand its foothold in Pennsylvania as well as fortify its position as a multistate regional law firm, said William Pietragallo, managing shareholder of the firm.

Morgan and Williams opens their new law firm
Attorneys Corey Morgan and Ken Williams have become named partners in a new law firm they have started with the moniker Morgan and Williams Law Firm, LLP.

Both Morgan and Williams are law graduates from the University of Louisville Law School. Morgan practiced law in Russellville for some time before going to Glasgow where he was first a prosecutor and then started practicing privately. Williams continues with his private practice in the area of criminal defense, family law and estates and probate. Morgan practices primarily include bankruptcy, family law, taxes, and estates and probate. In addition to the law firm, Morgan will also embark on a tax business by July 15.

BIZARRE NEWS

Blind in love, literally!
A Hong Kong man, Kwok Wai-ming, 49, was blinded when he was jabbed in the right eye with chopsticks by his own girlfriend. The incident took place after the couple got into an argument. On Kwok's complaint to the police, his girlfriend, Po Shiu-fong, 58, was sentenced to six months jail. The incident occurred a day after Po stabbed Kwok's left eye which she had already blinded six years back by pocking it with her finger. Kwok's right eye has lost 10 to 20% vision. Kwok dated Po since 1993, and did not report the left eye pocking incident six years ago, saying it was "a love sacrifice."
