I found the position at Wolff & Samson through a legal recruiter. Interestingly enough, I didn't believe I was qualified for the position as I had no knowledge of public finance work. I decided to interview with the firm, hoping to sell my other assets: organizational skills, dedication to the career, broad legal background, flexibility, etc. I remember interviewing with the partner in charge of the public finance department and hitting it off immediately. Looking back, I was truly fortunate as he was a wonderful teacher who helped me to expand my skills tremendously.
All of my friends said to check out LawCrossing.com to find a job and it is just as good as they told me it was. Joann
