In 1671, the Irish adventurer Colonel Blood, with the help of his team of accomplices, attempted to steal England's famed and priceless Crown Jewels when Blood disguised himself, knocked out the Tower's guard, and proceeded to pocket the gems. Although the thieves were caught after someone yelled, "Treason—the Crown is stolen," the event inspired this game. Players of Outrage! Deluxe get to try their luck at succeeding where Blood went wrong on an exact layout of the Tower of London, which serves as the game board and includes all the many passages and rooms.
