"I was looking for a part-time job near my son's nursery school and was hired as a part-time title clerk for an in-house attorney's title company in New York. I then went to a paralegal program (I already had a B.S.) and returned to work for the same firm doing more advanced title work and closings. After a few years, my family moved to Florida. I immediately pursued a title agent's license to close the learning curve between New York law and Florida law. I started working for Ferrell Law in July of 2000. I then took the LSAT (on a dare from a senior partner) and began law school in September of 2002. I took the Florida bar in July of 2006 and was admitted in October of 2006."
