Jorge G. de Presno-Arizpe recently joined Thompson & Knight, LLP, as a partner in its Mexico City office, known as Thompson & Knight Abogados. Presno-Arizpe, who joins partners Carlos R. Valencia and Miguel de Erice, has represented clients in numerous privatization cases and focuses his practice on Mexican labor, employment, and social security law matters. He is a well-known and respected member of the Mexican legal community and a member of the Board of Directors of the Mexican Bar Association and has 25 years of legal experience. Presno-Arizpe joins Thompson & Knight from Thacher, Proffitt & Wood, where he led the firm's labor and employment practice.
