How I Got a Job
|
Natalie McKenney, a litigation paralegal at Halleland, Lewis, Nilan & Johnson in Minneapolis, got her job through a friend. "I actually had a friend that was working with the partners here at the firm as a receptionist, and they were looking for someone to come in basically as a document clerk, which would basically be an assistant to a paralegal," she said. In that position, she was in charge of filing, sorting, and organizing documents; and from that position, McKenney worked her way up to litigation paralegal. |
